We stand by the quality of our work and the products we sell - just like we stand by a good set of trails on a weekend ride.
Here's how it works:
Warranty coverage applies to genuine manufacturing defects only. It does not cover issues resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, poor maintenance, accidental damage, or neglect. All products must be used for their intended purpose.
Warranty claims are only accepted with valid proof of purchase from MotaCycles.
Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
If your item is replaced under warranty, the replacement item will be covered by a period equal to the remaining warranty term of the original product, not a new full term.
All products must be installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and, where applicable, fitted by a qualified bicycle mechanic.
Warranty claims may be rejected if incorrect installation or adjustment is identified as a contributing factor.
All workshop servicing carried out by MotaCycles is covered by a 3-month service warranty from the date of completion. This covers workmanship only, not wear and tear or component failure.

If you believe your product or recent service work is covered under warranty:

Each claim is assessed individually. In most cases for product claims, we'll forward the item to the relevant UK distributor or manufacturer for inspection. The decision from the supplier or manufacturer is final. Processing times for external warranty assessments can take up to 28 working days.
